Matching clutch bag

As part of my Final Major Project, I felt that no dress would be complete without matching clutch bag

The lining is a collage effect of Poppies created on CAD with my water colour Poppy paintings and printed onto silk
the flowers are machine embroidered detailed with black velvet, beading and feltwork centres
 others are hand felted

And nature reclaims itself

Bodice detail, chevron pleats to reflect the chevrons of a military uniform with poppies scattered over them

Poppies constucted from natural materials such as silk and wool felt, each unique as a flower in a flield

The digital print panel, if you look closely you may see capa's D-Day landing photo's together with planes, barbed wire, tanks, parachutes and watercolour poppy images

The pattern is inspired by Madeleine Vionnet plus a 1946 New York by Starlight fashion illustration
